About Me

I am a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow in the Earth Science Division at NASA Ames Research Center, where I develop AI-assisted retrieval methods for spaceborne lidar and satellite observations, with a focus on aerosol characterization from CALIPSO.

My work sits at the intersection of generative modeling and scientific imaging. During my doctoral research I built diffusion and consistency models for high-fidelity image synthesis and transformer-based architectures for medical image analysis. I now bring that same toolkit to atmospheric remote sensing, where noisy signals and scarce labels raise many of the same questions.

Before Ames I completed my Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, and spent a summer with the computational data science group at Idaho National Laboratory working on open-set recognition for time-frequency signals.

When I am not coding, you can find me outdoors, reading, exercising, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
